Description
Job Description: Position will require frequent internal and external customer contacts and will represent the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical problems related to specific projects. Tasks include, but may not be limited to, planning, budgeting, project coordination, management advisory services, tasking, monitoring, briefing preparation, and documentation of any and all program needs and deliverables. Position will include planning and coordinating with all Government stakeholders who support the development, test/evaluation, and transition to operations of contractor and vendor developed software. Tasks will include, but not be limited to, the development of requirements, request for changes, technical or customer issues and recommended resolutions. Employee will attend or facilitate contractor and government technical exchange meetings, provide status reports, prepare briefings, schedules, and memorandums of agreements. Seller will be required to identify, track, and bring to closure issues or actions necessary to maintain contractor software development schedules. Local travel in the metropolitan D.C. area will be required as well as out of area travel in support of program business. Experience Required: Successful candidate will have an appropriate advanced education, including a master's degree, and at least seven years of systems engineering, information systems project management or software development experience. Relevant experience may be applied towards education requirement. Appropriate government security clearances are required.
